Can we get some clarity on what's happening? When will the skillbooks appear? When will the ships be released? There seems to be some concern that the Confessor is a bit overpowered. Release the others, and provided they're all well balanced with the Confessor, it should lead to some interesting gameplay.
How much clearer do you need it to be?
There was a player driven event where we all got to donate sleeper loot on behalf of the four empires. It was explicitly said that the faction who had the most loot donated on it's behalf would get their hands on some form of new technology, with the other races getting it based on the order they finished in the research race. Once the race was over, the new tech was revealed to be Tactical Destroyers with the Amarr version, the Confessor, coming out first because they won. The following release order was Minmatar, Caldari, and finally Gallente. During the lead up to the release of the Confessor in Rhea, it was stated several times by CCP that they were intentionally not giving us the dates that the others would be released, and that we probably shouldn't expect them to line up with the release order of following expansions. Several reasons have been given for this, the biggest ones being that they want to take their time and make the ships just right and that you should feel bad for not helping your favorite faction win because they're going to do this again in the future. Meanwhile, skillbooks will appear when the ships appear. And if the Confessor is overpowered, it won't be addressed until the other D3's are released (personal opinion: it is in no way overpowered).
Sorry to write that much. Was waiting for Proteus to download.
